Patient Information
FEES:
We use the Ontario Dental Association’s most current fee guide. Additional fees will depend on the treatment provided. A cost estimate will be discussed prior to starting any treatment. (Note: there is no additional fee for prescriptions.)
PAYMENT:
We accept the following payment methods: Visa, Master Card, Debit, and cash. Payment is expected at the time of service. If you have dental insurance we will print out an insurance form that will list the services provided. This form can be submitted to your insurance company which will reimburse you directly.
NOTE: We currently do not accept Ontario Works.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
At the start of your visit, you will fill out standard forms. The dentist will then examine your mouth, and any necessary x-ray(s) will be taken. The dentist will then discuss your treatment options and fees prior to starting any treatment. When treatment is completed the dentist will prescribe any medications that are needed and payment will be taken.
SHOULD I SEE MY REGULAR DENTIST FOR FOLLOW-UP CARE:
We will let you know if there is any follow up care needed. We can, upon your approval, send any x-rays and images taken along with a report to your dentist to update them on your emergency appointment.
I DON’T HAVE A REGULAR DENTIST:
If you don’t have a dentist, we will complete any emergency dentistry that we have initiated. We can then refer you (if you like) to a dentist in your area for ongoing dental care.
