How it works
Sedation doesn’t replace freezing. It deals with the anxiety, while local anaesthetic still numbs the area so you don’t feel pain. Before we recommend sedation, we review your health history, medications and allergies, and we’ll explain which option suits you, how to prepare and what the rules are for getting home afterward. We don’t offer nitrous oxide (laughing gas) at our office.
